Why was I born? How can I fulfill my calling and at the end of my life, have assurance I will hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant!!”?

If you’ve taken the time to meditate at some point and ask that question, I can tell you from experience, if you are willing to listen with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul, you WILL get your answer.

You will hear it; you will dream it; you will feel it; and ultimately, you will live it!

We Are Meant to Be Different

We all know that no one story is the same. It’s really a beautiful thing to understand, and it’s also a beautiful reality that we can be different, and we are created to be different from one another.

It has taken me so much time to not only understand, but to really appreciate this amazing truth, which in turn, allows me to be thankful for my own authenticity – something I strive to pass on to you.

Knowing Yourself

I am (most of the time) an extravert. My husband is (most of the time) an introvert. We are true opposites. For that very reason, I believe God made David for me and me for David.

Finding your “own” purpose—and I put quotations around the word own for an important reason—entails so much personal reflection.

Understanding who YOU are, not who others might want you to be, or who others think you should be is vital.

The Challenge of Social Media

Today, especially with social media, it’s almost impossible to purposely focus on ourselves. Social media is wonderful, it allows us to connect with others, to keep up with family we don’t see often, and I love the ability to share my experiences and photos with friends.

However, my reality is a reality of potential envy if I allow myself to go there.

Spiritually, I always try to stay on guard (for lack of a better word), remembering:

“The enemy is always prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

(1 Peter 5:8-10)

Who Are You Living For?

Ultimately, God made you for His purpose, not for you or for anyone else for that matter.

Who are you in Christ? What is God’s purpose for you?

Think of that magical day you will stand at the throne of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

There is no doubt that day will come. It is inevitable. We will all take our last breath and immediately be in glory with Jesus or at the gates of hell, eternally separated from God.

Your Eternal Choice

Those words are not easy for me to say or to type. It is a harsh reality for some. So, first things first!

Have you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart to be your one true Lord and Savior?

That’s exactly what He becomes when your heart transitions from worldly desires to spiritual desires, and this transition can only happen when you sincerely give your life to Him.

If you question this, repeat after me:

“John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Father God, please forgive me for my sins, they are heavy, please allow your spirit to live within me through Christ Jesus your Son, Amen.

And yes, it is that easy to become an inheritor of His saving grace and live your afterlife in Heaven, in Paradise (Luke 23:43).

You Are Here on Purpose

Understand, your purpose for being is the reason this blog exists. If you are reading, you are not reading by mistake, you are reading because God has ordained your beautiful eyes to be set here for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

Just as God called Esther to greatness, He calls you to an amazing greatness as well.

My hope and my prayer are that you will be one of the few who take the narrow path, the righteous path—not the wide path, the path of destruction (Psalm 1:6).

What’s Coming Next

…my next post will delve into my own personal story.

Along the way, I am going to give you so much hope for your story, because mine is a story of ups, downs, twists, and turns.

However, something I am one hundred percent sure of (because God’s word says it in Romans 8:28), is that every single one of those ups, downs, twists, and turns has and will continue to work for the good of my life and His purpose (Jeremiah 29:11).
